Pageant Season Highlights: From Blackpool to the Bahamas

A busy year of finals, retreats and international appearances has kept the UK pageant calendar full, with titles decided everywhere from Lancashire hotels to the Blackpool seaside and a crowning moment in the Bahamas.

International Galaxy Pageants, Nassau

The international crown came home in August 2026, when the UK Galaxy Queens travelled to Nassau in the Bahamas to compete at the International Galaxy Pageants. The trip formed part of their prize package for winning their UK titles, and the results were confirmed after a Saturday evening final.

Queens Retreat, Lancashire

Before that, the annual Queens Retreat brought titleholders together for a few days at a luxury mansion in Lancashire. The official photographs, released on 29 May 2026, captured hot tub chats, pizza nights, sunny strolls and plenty of laughter. An earlier retreat, held in September 2025, followed a similar formula.

UK Galaxy Pageants, Chorley

The 2026 UK Galaxy Pageants took place in March at the Park Hall Hotel in Chorley. The competition has a reputation for attracting a glamorous field and for being a demanding contest to win, and this year’s event was no exception.

Christmas Event

The festive season opened with the annual Christmas event at The Dress Studio in December 2025. Finalists gathered for a meet-up that has become a fixture in the pageant calendar.

Miss International

Sophie Wallace was crowned Miss International Europe 2025 on 27 November 2025. She had won the Miss International UK pageant in May 2025, earning the chance to travel to Tokyo, Japan, to represent the UK at the official Miss International competition. Ahead of the trip, her official headshot and swimsuit photograph were released, taken during the photoshoots that all delegates complete while in Tokyo.

Miss Teen Great Britain Grand Finals

The 2025 Miss Teen Great Britain Grand Finals were held on Sunday 12 October 2025 at The Globe Theatre in Blackpool, where Brooke Coole was crowned Miss Teen Great Britain 2025/26.

Little Miss & Miss Junior Teen Great Britain Grand Finals

The previous day, Saturday 11 October 2025, also at The Globe Theatre in Blackpool, two further titles were decided at the Little Miss & Miss Junior Teen Great Britain Grand Finals.

Universal Woman

Natalie Mageza, Universal Woman Great Britain 2024/25, represented the UK at Universal Woman 2025 in India, competing on the international stage after travelling out for the prestigious event.
