Miss Pageant Girl UK is an award-winning national competition built around a simple idea: taking part should be enjoyable, and contestants should feel able to be themselves. For those new to pageants, it offers a gentle introduction to how the industry works, alongside the chance to build confidence and come away with lasting memories.

Who can enter

Entry is open to women aged 19 to 29 as of 1 June in the year of the competition. Marital status is not a barrier — entrants may be single, married or divorced, and having children does not affect eligibility.

There is one restriction for those with prior experience: anyone who has previously held a national title, or who has represented their country at an international pageant, must wait two years from the end of their reign as winner before entering.

What the competition involves

Finalists are assessed across three rounds:

• Interview
• Evening wear
• Be-YOU-tiful — a jeans-and-t-shirt round designed to remove any outfit pressure and let personality take centre stage

No bonus points are awarded for making appearances, and charity fundraising is entirely optional rather than an expectation.

Cost

The sponsorship and entry fee is £225, which covers the cost of taking part in the competition.

Other divisions

The competition also runs a Miss Teen Pageant Girl UK division for girls aged 13 to 18, and a Ms Pageant Girl UK division for women aged 30 and over.
