The Queens Are Ready For Their Close Up - A Full Day of Photoshoots! - Pageant Girl

The UK Galaxy queens have completed a full day of official photoshoots ahead of Saturday’s Grand Finals, with the Opening Number and Swimwear sessions captured by photographer Daniel Gagnon.

Red Dresses for the Opening Number

For 2026, every division will take to the stage in red dresses for the Opening Number, a look chosen to bring elegance and confidence to the UK Galaxy stage. The queens were photographed in these outfits as part of the official shoot.

The Junior divisions do not take part in the poolside photoshoot, so they have their own individual and group session in their Opening Number outfits instead. Among those featured were the Pre-Teen and Junior queens, Coral and Natasha.

Poolside Glam Inspired by the Bahamas

After the Opening Number photographs, the queens changed into swimwear for the annual Swimsuit Photoshoot, one of the most anticipated moments of Galaxy Week.

This year’s Poolside Glam theme drew on the colours of the Bahamas flag, with bold blues, sunny yellows, striking black accents and a tropical feel. The shoot combined posed and fashion-led moments, and the official photographs are expected to be released shortly.

Applications Open for 2027

Applications for the 2027 UK Galaxy competition are now open. Six new winners will be crowned to represent the UK at the Galaxy Internationals in The Bahamas.
