UK’s National Miss is a pageant with a difference. It pairs the polish and spectacle of a traditional competition with chances to build confidence and pick up practical, real-world skills — all wrapped up in the atmosphere of a big weekend away with friends.
The competition was founded in 2020, during the UK’s Covid-19 lockdown, by Holly Pirrie, director of Pageant Girl Ltd. After weighing up what else the British pageant scene could offer, she launched the event. The result keeps the glamour of a pageant while adding team-building activities and more opportunities to make lasting memories.
Who can take part
UK’s National Miss is open to girls and women aged 12 and over, with no upper age limit. Entrants come from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
